Starting to gain an international approach combined with a scientific perspective since high school, Murat Can Özalp completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Middle East Technical University in Civil Engineering and Hydromechanical Engineering & Hydropower Engineering, specialized in “dam gate design” and “bridge pier design”. His thesis on bridge piers in the rivers, along with other scientific papers, has been published in the American Society of Civil Engineers and Canadian Society of Civil Engineers, gaining admissions by international institutions and still being published in scientific journals.
His attitude valuing versatility led him to gain a multidirectional skillset over almost 10 years of experience. He has overseen a portfolio of more than 1.000.000 meter square, providing value for multiple landmarks of Moscow.
Due to his holistic approach, he worked in many positions, enabling him to handle the projects as a whole. He started his career as Site Engineer& Tower Chief at Capital Group’s mega-project OKO Towers and right after that, he managed to become Head of the Tender Department at Antteq. Using the know-how he had gained in these years, he worked as a Project Manager at Antteq in 2016. He improved his international perspective while working as a Project Manager & Owner’s Representative at Ant Yapi in New York in 2017.
His success in dealing with a project entirely led him to continue his career firstly as an Owner’s Representative at Ant Yapi Investment and then Construction Director & Design Coordinator at Ant Development, responsible for the whole project from the development of conceptual design and business plan to sales and finance.
As the manager in 5 different development projects, he played the most active role in the development, implementation, follow-up, and delivery of projects, with a focus on construction and design. His ability to comprehend the projects with holism resulted in creating added value not just with productivity but also creativity for conceptualization.
